i cut across the grass after walking 1.7 mile which I thought was 4 switching hands every few seconds.  i was not about to walk thew few extra feet thru the driveway

i hear the police cruiser door locks test on & off
that was a scary unexpected arrival

i walked in and this tall handsome man wearing safety face mask 😷 and AMERICAN RED CROSS safety vest matching my hurried step as though a father waiting on his family to get in before a tornado hit

i felt welcomed relieved
and hurrying in I asked if there was still room

as we got in i sat down and checked in by JAMES
("EXTREMELY PLEASANT AND CARING PEOPLE")

then a younger JAMES shepherded me to my spot and surprisingly i had a table/bench and I had a lot of work documents from the 22nd to "read" and sign and scan and email

then I got snacks and water 💦, refreshed my body and soul

1 resident ran up to safety from Key West he told me while I got coffee

while LIZZY & YZZIE(her 13 year old female black shitsu 🐶🐕) found refuge down in okeechobee because she lives 3 homes from Sebring lake where
Ian decided on an extended stay was due to leave today at 4 then Sebring was to expect a cyclone

SUZIE says she's fine BUT with loved one far away

had a nice warm dinner and breakfast fast

THANK YOU TO THE OFFICER WHO DROVE ME TO MY CAR.
i had looked a couple times there was a fine mist and they said wind 🌬️🍃 was 35 miles per hour and i wanted to wait until the last was leaving 

my bag was heavier with more water, rice crispy treats and an AMERICAN RED CROSS BLANKET❤️
